Clothing represents an important form of expression, and nowhere is this more obvious than in the traditional and indigenous cultures and societies from which La Vagabonde draws its inspiration. Driven by a desire to move away from disposable fashion, our brand is built on an intention to re-infuse meaning into the clothes we wear and to create sustainably produced pieces that carry with them a story and a history.
La Vagabonde’s collections feature fabrics from different places we have travelled, and our pieces are adorned with little treasures we have collected along the way. All of our fabrics are either vintage or hand-loomed, and every single piece we create is made entirely by hand. Through our collections we aim to honor the culture and history of the people who have created the beautiful fabrics and adornments that we use.
Delivery & Return Policy
Returns
Due to the uniqueness of our collections and the care dedicated to making each piece we have a no refund policy. Many of our products are made using vintage fabrics. We strive to ensure the integrity of the fabrics in all of our products, but if small repairs are needed we will make these free of charge within the first six months of purchase. Return shipping fees for repairs will be the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery
All of our products are handmade in Kenya. We charge a flat rate delivery fee for customers in Kenya for delivery using local courier services. For international customers, we charge a flat rate shipping fee for delivery via Fedex International Economy shipping. If your order exceeds the weight associated with our flat rate, we will apply a small surcharge for the delivery of each additional item. If you live in a country that is not served by our online shipping options, please contact us directly to arrange for delivery. Local deliveries will be made within 3 days of order. International deliveries will be made within 10-14 days of order.
